| Recommendations for Use | Your pasta cooker can be used as a stock pot without the drainer accessory. To ensure the drain holes are completely clean, soak the drainer in hot soapy water for a few minutes and then scrub gently with a soft sponge. The maximum capacity for cooking is 3/4 of the total volume of this pot. Hot cookware should be kept out of the reach of children. This product should not be altered in any way from its original form. Before the first use, wash with a soft sponge and mild soap or detergent. After drying, grease the interior of the pot with oil or lard and heat or one or two minutes. Allow to cool and wash again. Your Starflon product is now ready for use with or without oil, always on low or medium heat (never above 220°C). For induction cooktops, use only on medium heat and avoid moving the pot to prevent scratches to the cooktop surface. Use only silicone, nylon or wood utensils for stirring. Cleaning: Avoid submerging a hot pot in cold water. Never use abrasive products for cleaning. If burnt food sticks to the pot, wet the area and set aside until you can remove the burnt residues with a soapy sponge. To extend the life of the product, we recommend washing by hand. To discard the product and packaging, please follow current recycling guidelines. This product does not require any maintenance other than regular cleaning. |
